Your Progress To Better Health
"Feeling well" begins with confidence in your practitioners and why we use the techniques we do! The more information you assimilate the better you will understand how complete heath is obtained.
Very rarely does one treatment of any kind fix a problem. Acute symptoms can be alleviated, but to maintain and improve on what has been started a series of visits are usually required. If necessary we will refer you for further analysis (X-Ray, C&T, MRI) or to another specialist if necessary.
Successful patient practitioner relationships rely on two way interaction from which ongoing progress will be monitored by you as the patient and your practitioner.
Each visit builds on the previous until your musculoskeletal systems have been stabilized and you then only require a maintenance program. It is important that our relationship is based on trust we will not treat you unless that’s what is required.
Healthy Living
If you have good health you want to keep it, if you don’t you need to get it. Investing in a healthy lifestyle is something you will never regret and it will be an asset you can build and use throughout your life.

Food and Nutrition
“Diet” is having balance in your intake of protein, vitamins and minerals and fluids and not necessarily related to gaining or losing weight. Motors need fuel, lubricants, and maintenance and your body is no different. Whichever motor you are running, you will get the best performance by putting in the correct fuel.
Diets should be tailored to your individual requirements to balance your body. We can refer you to a dietician to tailor your diet. See suggested diet section.
Exercise
Effort is required to not only maintain but also improve your body’s muscular and skeletal condition. Without a daily exercise program, intermittent vigorous exercise (for example sports or gardening) will place undue stresses on your whole system. Regular exercise will maintain your body and ensure it prepared for such events.
Your program should include general exercises for your whole body, as well as more specific ones to target your particular issues. These exercise programs should be tailored to your individual requirements to ensure you are targeting the right areas, and avoid unnecessary stress and strain on your body.
Physiotherapists can tailor a program to suit you and ensure you get the most out of your exercise. These programs will complement the treatment you receive in the clinic and compliance with your program will ensure a better outcome. These programs can be adjusted and progressed as your fitness and techniques improve.
